This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a tv, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me print documents during my first stay, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it and will return for Christmas!

The staff were PROFESSIONAL, comfortable and decent location to take a train for airport. Further, it was so close to Westminster and Trafalgar Square, Clapham common with lots of restaurants, and London for Wimbledon.

Very nice building, all new done up. Good size bedroom, and the bathrooms just down the corridor. Wifi connection very good, overall exactly what I was looking for, nice independent place to stay!!
The only thing would be the fact that I had to ring up and wait to be let in (the receptionist had just popped out), but no big problems anywhere! I would recommend a sign to be put up - make sure people know they are at the right house!

There is one young lady (and only her) taking care of this 8-room guesthouse and she does an amazing job ! Not only is she available 6 days a week, 10 hours a day (from 13:00 to 23:00) plus overtime, she also makes sure that the shared bathrooms (3 of those) always are in pristine condition ! Everything is kept impeccably clean, dry and functioning ! She is always ready to help out with small needs (adapter for electrical outlets, kettle ...). All in all very acomodating ! The room was spacious, looked out onto Wandsworth Road, so a little noisy but well tolerable with the window closed. Location is good with 2-3 bus- lines that take you to /from Victoria, Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square ... The tube is 1km walk away so that's kinda far.
No lift, room on 2nd floor (two floors up) but this was expected and not a problem.

The guest house is a converted row house, very narrow with 3 or 4 floors, 1 or 2 rooms on floor. We stayed in the family room - see pictures. The room was quite nice, quiet with plenty of room and in great condition. The private bathroom/shower worked well. There are restaurants and shops, as well as a tube station, at Clapham Junction which is a short walk away. (There's not much right by the guest house, other than a gas station mini-mart.) (Clapham seemed to be pretty quiet normally, but there were lots of young people out going to the bars and restaurants on Sat. night!)
Be sure to arrange early check-in or luggage drop-off, if needed. When we arrived early, no one answered the door, which is kept locked, and we were stuck in the rain for a while before we were finally able to call someone to let us in. There was no bath soap or shampoo provided. The skylights in the family room are great except that the room gets bright at dawn. Overall, a great place.

Very clean, nice and comfortable rooms. Also the shared toilets and showers were very clean and in good shape. Easy to reach by bus and the "road rail".
The location was a bit dodgy. If I was a single lady, I wouldn't feel comfortable moving about the area after dark.

the hotel is very new, clean and comfortable. good location with 10 mins walk to the underground station. the shower room is fantastic. the lady in the reception is very friendly as well.
the only problem is that we stayed in the family room, which is on the top floor, 4th floor with no lift n very narrow stairs, which make it very hard to take the suitcases.

Convenient location with easy bus access from Vauxhall tube station. Very clean. Staff very helpful.
No elevator, located in a busy main street and there is noise in the rooms, we heard that the rates will be increased so the price will not be an advantage any more, no air-condition maybe is a problem the hot summer days, wifi is not working on the 3rd floor.

I had a great stay at the Clapham. The location was perfect for exploring London, with a bus stop right outside. The room was clean and comfortable I found the floors a bit squeaky at night.
